In this blog I am going to be talking about the greatest footballer of all time as some things about him. He has 5 balon dors to his name but in my opinion, should have 7.



His was born in Rosario, Argentina where he began playing football at a very young age for his local club called Newells Old Boys. He was absolutely incredible even at such a young age so he attracted attention from a number of foreign clubs. At the age of 12, Leo signed for Barcelona. He was abnormally small so Barcelona paid thousands for growth treatment in order to make Messi a normal height. They had so much faith in his ability. Messi throughout his career has had a number of offers to move from Catalunia to go to a foreign league, but he has always stayed loyal. He has had huge offers from Italian, English, French, Chinese and German clubs. He has many opportunities to receive much bigger wages elsewhere but he has always opted against, in respect to Barcelona.


Lionel plays for the Argentinian National team. He is their captain. He only really has ever lived in Rosario, Argentina or in Barcelona. Below is a video of what he can do.
